<p><a href="http://www.editionsorphee.com/solos/Haydn-fugue.html">Joseph Haydn: The &#8220;Creation&#8221; Fugue</a><br />
for solo guitar.<br />
Transcribed, in the style of Fernando Sor, by Mark Delpriora</p>
<p>The Haydn fugue feels a lot like Sor&#8217;s study in E flat op. 29 (18 in the Segovia collection).<br />
The themes lend themselves to the guitar and the key sounds great.<br />
The open E, A and D strings are leading tones in F, B flat and E flat so<br />
the vibrancy of the open string sound in that context is refreshing.</p>
